Getting Ready for December ...

This is my favorite color combo ... can you tell?

I'm busy getting the shop filled for holiday shopping. I have a few custom orders I'm finishing up, then I will be strictly painting items to be sold in the shop. Although I love making special custom things, they just seems to take a lot more time.

It seems like ever since I started cREaTe ... my Decembers have found me scrambling to finish things in order to get them on door steps before Christmas. All-nighters make for a crabby mommy, which ruins the mood for the entire house. And who wants that to replace the Christmas spirit?

I want to spend my December the way it's meant to be spent ... enjoying fires & hot chocolate with my family, baking treats for the neighbors, watching my kids circle toys in catalogs, carefully wrapping presents, and just feeling the magic instead of the stress. I'm sure there will still be chaos ... but I want my kids to remember a much nicer version of me than they have gotten the past few Decembers. :)
