Happy Birthday to my middle ... Davis. :) He is only 7 years old, but has always been wise beyond his years. My mom used to always joke "he just doesn't look happy about being a baby." :) One of my sisters used to always say "you got cheated out of a 'baby' with Davis." :) And I have always said "he is a 40 year old trapped in a __[however old he is that particular year]__'s body." All true statements. That's my Davis. He was a darling, happy little baby - don't get me wrong. But he has always wanted to be BIG. You could see it in his eyes that he was unhappy that his little baby body couldn't do the things his mind wanted him to do. There are moments he is still upset he's a kid. But I love how sweet, silly & wise he can be all at the same time. :) He's a great kid & I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom. ;)
