It was a quick trip, but we squeezed a lot in. We went back to Corpus Christi / North Padre Island where we lived for the last 2 1/2 years that Kyle was in the Navy {& where little Libby was born}. It was kind of weird being a visitor ... but at the same time all the familiarity was so nice & nostalgic.
We got to see some old friends, our old neighbors, got to tour our old house & show the boys their old rooms {but had to tell them we didn't have a pool in our backyard when we lived there :) ha}, we got to visit all our old hot spots & eat at all our favorite restaurants. A lot had changed, a lot hadn't. It was fun to go back & see it all.
2 1/2 years doesn't seem like that long ago ... but knowing that when we left Brett was 5 1/2, Davis was 3 & Libby was 5 months makes it seems like ages ago. Oh my ... how time is flying.

Looks like a great trip---love the photo with the kids dragging their wheeled suit-cases. It reminds me of all of us going to Europe---no wheeled suitcases, though. . .
