Some of my favorites...

These are some of my favorite canvases I've cREaTed & I wanted to share them with you. I painted these almost 3 years ago for the Pediatric Therapy Clinic in Corpus Christi, TX where my son received Speech & Occupational Therapy (you can read about Brett here). I had walked in to the empty waiting room 3 days a week for 3 - 4 months when I finally had the nerve to ask my son's therapist if anyone would be offended if I donated some artwork. I know that might sound like a silly question... but I hate the thought of hurting anyone's feelings. And by offering things to "pretty it up"... inevitably meant that I thought it was not pretty.

They were okay with it... so I bought some canvases & got excited with all the possibilities. I thought about who it was for. This was for children, but not just any children. This was for kids with special needs; kids who possibly needed a little boost. And I knew as a parent, that sometimes we needed the little boost, too. So I cREaTed these canvases for these special families who would be visiting this Pediatric Therapy Clinic. I've met some incredible individuals in these waiting rooms. Kids who will melt your heart and parents whose display of devotion to their children will never leave you. There are some amazing people in this world... and I've met a lot of them in these waiting rooms. These were my gift to those families.
