Today I painted both the P-3 Orion & the C-130... both are on Etsy now the P-3 here and the C-130 here. My husband flew the P-3 for 4 years when he was in the Navy, but he'll soon be learning to fly the Air Force equivalent of the Navy's P-3... the C-130. (He joined the Air National Guard/Reserves & they fly the C-130)
I try to paint these as close to real life as possible... it always annoys Kyle (& now it totally annoys me) when there are airplanes painted that just are made up with parts added that don't belong, & parts that are missing that are vital for flying. :) hee hee It'd be like painting a turtle with 5 legs...or without his shell. :) So this is as close to the real deal as I could get it. {Click to see detailing} *God bless all our military - near & far, in the air, in the sea & on land!*
