Chairs: $5
I've been on the look out for some little chairs for Libby's Kitchen. A coat of paint, a little wood glue & possibly a screw ... and they'll be perfect. The one in good condition was $4, the other one was $1.
Wood ... thing: 25¢
No idea what it is. Or what I'll do with it. But I have a hard time passing up a nice piece of wood at this price. [and it is dove-tailed ... which I heard makes it extra nice]
Toile-lidded tin: 5¢
Love red. Love toile. He wasn't going to take my nickel, but I insisted. :)
Fireman's hat: 25¢
The very next day my nephew was having a Fireman Birthday Party. Aunt Rachel splurged.
Big plastic jar with blue lid: "FREE"
These are great for storage of Legos, crayons, etc. Couldn't beat the price.
Bag of clothes pins: 50¢
Who can't use a bag of clothes pins?
Frame with art: $1
Gray 16x20 frame with cross-stitched scene ... I love frames that I can use for my larger canvases. This one was perfect since it didn't come with glass anyway! And the cross-stitch piece? I feel guilty saying this ... but I had no intentions of doing anything with it. I only wanted the frame. But when I got home & saw how cute it was, I quickly found a home for it. It's on its way to Georgia. ;)
