... that's what I thought my paints were. So pretty & colorful, they're now [as of yesterday] spotlighted & framed as ART. The shelves are the perfect depth ... as if they were built for this. But they weren't. I think this used to be a medicine cabinet. I found it at the curb waiting for trash pick-up or a new owner, whichever came first. I haven't had to do anything except wedge some little dowels in the holes to hold up the shelves.
I'm still working on sprucing up this 57 year old basement. In a year or 2 or 5, we hope to finish off most of the basement ... but until then I have to work my cREaTive magic. A little paint, goes a long way. And luckily, there's no shortage of paint in this house. Here's a mini tour ... [of the sections that look decent]. :)
{What you see when you come down the basement steps... I painted this little section of wall this pea green color. Leah, recognize the flowers?}
{My newest Quote Canvas ... custom request on Etsy.}
{Just on the other side of my area is where the kids play with playdough & color while they're in the basement with me. Last week I painted the walls the same pea green color, all except for the metal beams which were left white. The walls are cement block ... so I have to rely on magnets on the metal beams to hang things up.}
{And here is my latest sale ... sold earlier today. I just love this color scheme.}
Hope you enjoyed your tour [of the sections of my basement that look decent]. :)
