I can't tell whether I just like to keep holiday decorations to a minimum ... or whether I'm just too lazy to get it all out, just to put it all away. I can't tell, so I'm probably 40% a minimalist & 60% pure lazy bones. Anyway, this is the extent of my fall decorating. I have abandoned my bin of bi-polar fall decorations [Witches & Turkeys] & gone with just strictly 'Harvest' theme. Leaves, gourds, pumpkins, berries, etc. Theory, of course, being that I only have to decorate once, not twice. :) I made the leaf garland last night with the help of this tutorial although I wound up using flannel instead of felt. Not only was it cheaper, but I liked the color selection better. [Funny, the tutorial says not to lift the presser foot ... the flannel was so thin I couldn't even sew with the presser foot down. It's a miracle I didn't pierce my finger.] And I got the idea of putting the gourds & pumpkin in with my [used once in 9 1/2 years & even then it was only 2 place settings ... & I was only using it as a joke serving hotdogs on it just to point out the fact that we never use it] china & glassware from this blog, Nesting Place. Take down will be a piece of pumpkin spice cake. That's my kind of decorating. :)
[Heck, let's go with 20 / 80 instead of 40 / 60.]

You are too funny! LOVE the bi-polar comment about your witches and turkeys. :) I was just wondering when I should drag out all my stuff, but I keep putting it off. I am feeling a little lazy, too. :)
