I finally finished my silent auction donation for BONFIRE {F.I.R.E.'s big fall fundraiser}. It's a 12x16 canvas ... green background with white & brown lettering. I have painted this quote just once before and wanted to do it again. I thought it was appropriate since all the proceeds are going to F.I.R.E. {The Foundation for Inclusive Religious Education}.
I haven't been liking my photos lately. Something's going on. I'm pretty sure somebody has messed with my camera's settings. It may or may not be the same person who sabotaged / tried to help with this ...
Hard to believe, I know. Look at that sweet face. :)

This is awesome! And thanks for sharing about F.I.R.E. I have never heard about it. The school my husband teaches at needs to know about this program!
LOL---Libby just wants to be like Mommy. . .
Love that quote---it is fabulous!
The quote reminds me of this one:
"Education is Not the Filling of a Pail, but the Lighting of a Fire"
Some one wrote about it on a blog:
William YeatsThis quote is from William Butler Yeats (Poet, 1865-1939). It captures what lies at the heart of authentic engagement - fire. As an educator, I've learned a great deal about pedagogical pyromania. In fact, it's my passion.
Amen and Amen
love the colors- great job!
