Christmas Day 2009
... and then some. And by that I mean we had the snowiest Christmas on record, here in Kansas City. From December 24 - 26, I believe it snowed more than it didn't. It was beautiful to just watch it keep coming down. We got more yesterday.
Yesterday I also got my 1st pair of boots. This is our 3rd winter here in Kansas City & I finally got boots. The concept behind boots shouldn't have to be a hard sell ... but I'm sort of a grin and bear it type of person. I'm not really on board with umbrellas, either. But back to the boots ... I'm now a huge fan. I even volunteered to take out the trash & recycling just because I could stomp around a bit more in my boots. Yes I did. How's that for a testimony for boots? You didn't know boots needed one, did you? Well, there it is just in case.

Hope your boots are utilitarian and not a fashion statement---looks like you'll need GOOD boots this winter.
love all the snow pictures!! i don't get snow...but it sure does get cold enough down here to justify buying a pair of boots! hm....might need to get a pair!
great snow pictures. And I totally agree with your umbrella thinking. Never been a fan! I gave in to boots after realizing that my shoes really don't magically repel snow in all cases (they do,however, in some!)
