I am officially on Vacation.
Kyle & I are on a cruise celebrating our 10 year Anniversary a month early. :)
This is our 2nd cruise ... so I know what to expect. But this time around will be different, as we will be sans kids. I don't know if I'm excited about that or sad ... as of now I'm leaning towards sad. Ask me on Wednesday how I'm feeling about it. ;) Then, come Saturday ... I'm sure I'll be back to counting down the minutes 'til we're home. I have a few more blog posts scheduled this week ... don't you sweat it. Bad joke. Sorry ... I really wasn't trying to rub in the "high of 87" the day we should be in Cozumel.
Speaking of ... here are some priceless photos from the last time we were in Cozumel.
"Making the Band - the Mariachi Edition"
March 2006 / 10:43 AM: Brett is fascinated by a Mariachi Band.
11:37 AM: Brett spies a little guitar in a store. Grandma buys the boys some.
11:45 AM: We spy kiddie sombreros. Better get those, too.
[Seriously, how cute is that face?]
11:57 AM: All set, strollin' the streets of Cozumel.
No, we're not tourists.
12:18 PM: Brett spies a Mariachi Band & scrambles to get out of the Jogger. The Band warmly welcomes him & Brett's dream of becoming a Mariachi Band member comes true. The boys play with the band for a few songs & quadruple the band's tip $ & crowd size. It was priceless.
I will miss our little Mariachi wannabes ... and their little sister, too! But that gorgeous turquoise water? Oh I can't wait.

oh my word!! Have so much fun!
It is so good to get away without the little ones sometimes......but always so good to get back and be together again too!
xo
Their mariachi band gig was the high light of the trip---and "picnics" on our balcony, "Hello, room service, could you send 4 pieces of white bread, grape jelly and 2 glasses of milk---no that's all." Thank goodness Rachel brought peanut butter and the boys didn't starve on that cruise.
Bet you didn't bring peanut butter this time!
Happy 10th Twenters!!!! Enjoy the time together!
