... is not really a baby any more. She has taken it upon herself to start potty-training, so the days of a changing table are coming to an end ... which has brought about some changes to her room. Yesterday I made some updates like taking the changing pad off her table [for the 1st time in 7 1/2 years] & turning it into a dresser top. While I was at it, I updated some photographs that were in her room & made some slight changes here & there. To quote her daddy, "She is getting to be a big girl & her room is growing up, too." I'm happy with the little updates ... but I'm still struggling with the fact she's quickly turning into a little girl. I think by the time it hits me, she'll be 5. :)

Her mother potty-trained herself although it wasn't really convenient for me---I had Holiday Season shopping and was pregnant with Leah. What I didn't need is to have to waddle across the mall to take a little one "potty."
Isn't it funny how we have a schedule in our heads which the children refuse to follow!
she is such a cutie and her room is adorable!
i totally know the feeling!
it was fun to change bugs room when she started to grow out of the baby stage. Add new things and watch her grow. But when i had to put away all the baby things it made me real sad.
