When I passed out sweet brochures.
Copied at Kinko's onto lavender paper.
With sophisticated talk of lackluster walls & things that needed zing.
Zing! Nice word.
Did I get my Thesaurus out for that?
Embarrassingly LOL'able [before we LOL'ed at things].
I worked hard on these.
Scanning in each & every photo [before digital].
Using a fancy program to create fliers.
Then I marched into a Kinko's with a Baby Brett on my hip.
[Or in a stroller ... I don't really remember.]
This was almost 8 years ago.
Before blogs, Twitter, Etsy & FB.
A lot has changed.
And I'm not just talkin' 'bout all the glass I painted on that washed off in everyone's dishwashers [I am pretty sure those F dishes & the flower goblets no longer exist, based on feedback I got from the L plates I did]. :)
A lot has changed in the home business world.
And in my home business world.
cREaTe is almost 8 years old ... so it was time I updated her logo & image. Thanks for all your feedback. #8 it is. It has that "zing" I was looking for. ;)

I remember those days well. I still have quite a few of my cREaTe originals (including at least 4 tote bags). I loved it then, and I still do. Congrats on 8 years!!!

ha ha, this post brings me down memory lane...I worked at Kinko's many years ago and we made so many fliers on pastel lavender, blue and pink, a different time indeed
