It's all good ...
It takes certain conditions in order to see a rainbow ... literally & figuratively.
Every time I see a little sun after the rain, I run outside like a little kid to see if I can find one. Last night after some rain, I saw the sun peek out. I sprung from my chair & said "Let's go see if we can find a rainbow!" The fuddy-duddies didn't come with me. We had our living room windows open since it had cooled off a bit, so the kids all heard me when I yelled in "I SEE ONE!" All 3 raced out then, and as you can tell by Davis's face ... they were pretty excited [side note: Davis has claimed on & off for the past couple of years that he has never seen a rainbow. Now he can't complain about that anymore! :)]. Because of where it was at in the sky, I knew we'd probably have a great view from Libby's room ... so we all ran back inside up to her room where we got the full arc. We all stood there in awe for a bit talking about pots of gold, all the colors, etc. until it was gone.
It was the perfect ending to the kind of week I had; the timing absolutely couldn't have been better. :) Happy Friday!

Yay! Rainbows! I can remember a girl who wanted to decorate a bathroom in rainbows! And another wanted hearts! Thank goodness I found rainbows and hearts in a wallpaper!
rainbows are a big hit here in our house. painted every chance we have and she claims she sees them all the time- which i think is a good thing :)
