So my little studio is just taking 10x longer to put together than I thought it would for reasons that I just typed out, but that's not the point of this post - so I deleted them. :) I really really want to see it done, but I am o.v.e.r.w.h.e.l.m.e.d by the amount of cra[p]-ft junk that I have. I don't want it all in there. Seriously. Silk flowers - just be gone already. What are you even doing here? But the room has the basics done. The workbench, a shelving unit, a place to sit & a new TV. Oh. And a bathroom & a utility sink right down the hall. [score]
Here's a little sneak peek of my workbench. I've had this for almost 6 years ... but just converted it from manly workbench to pretty workspace. I bought all different combinations of things to try & skirt the bottom. But in the end I screwed in 4 eye hooks, used one 6-foot steel rod & used the 3 white fabric shower curtains I already had [that were in the Goodwill pile]. The steel rod fit into the shower curtain's grommets just perfectly. I love the way it turned out ... especially the way it looks like this little nook was custom made for my workbench. But it was just a happy accident after we decided to have a closet built for the room. The workbench was supposed to go on another wall, but after getting out the tape measure... we knew it was going to be perfect fit.
Here's hoping everything else finds its perfect place ...

this is my jealous face :| it looks awesome! and yes, i am jealous. i can dream that one day i will have a home for all my cra[p]ft stuff.
what a great table!! i have to agree with lindsey...i'm a little envious of your space! ;) it's going to be such an awesome space!
It looks great, thanks for helping me with my decorating this week. . . .we never pcked out a paint color though . I may stick with my sunny yellow until spring....
