4x4 Giveaway ...

4 Reasons for a Giveaway:

1) I heart February.  It is my birth month. [It was the 3rd. My little sister's was the 2nd. And my dad's was the 13th along with my husband's 1/2 birthday which is the 13th as well.  <-- That's just a fun fact. We don't really celebrate 1/2 Birthdays. :) ha!]

2) Today is supposed to get up to the high 60's [this just in: got up to 77!]. Just a week ago, I woke up & it was in the negatives. So today we're definitely celebrating [windows open!].

3) I want to [because of reasons 1, 2 & 4, but especially because of reason 3].

4) Giveaways are fun because everyone says they never win, but someone HAS to win.  So it makes someone happy & always catches someone by surprise. :)

So click here to go to the 4x4 section of my shop.  And then come back & let me know which one you'd pick ... and either where you'd put it, why you'd pick it or who you'd give it to. Giveaway will end 4 days from now [Monday @ midnight].  Oh & please if I don't know you personally or if your profile doesn't have an e-mail address listed for you, please leave your e-mail address in your comment so I know how to get a hold of you! :) Thanks!  Happy Thursday!

I'd definitely pick the 'Be silly. Be honest. Be kind.' 4x4 square. I'm re-entering the workforce after the last 2.5 years home with my kids and I would put it right next to my computer monitor in my new cubicle.

I think it whas to be the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote on being silly, honest and kind - words to live by for sure! I think it would go up in a small spot in my kitchen - a great daily reminder.

The Roy Croft quote. When I read it I thought about how a mother, wife, sister, aunt, business women goes about her daily life. But, when I am with my Granddaughter Ashleigh Grace I change into a different person. A Grandmother's and Granddaughter's bond is so very special. Like no other. I would hold it for a special time when she grows older. It would be a special gift for a special time...and made by a very special niece/cousin.

i'm going to hop on the bandwagon and say that the emerson quote is my favorite! i would hang it my son's room -- he has been home from korea for two months now and i would love him to grow up knowing this and living this. :)

I would also pick the Emerson 'Be silly...' canvas. Love the quote, your delicate painting of the words, the shape of the quote and the coral wash. What a fun giveaway of your lovely work!
