[I love Davis's face here. So him. He's 'skeptical' of one of Libby's drawings.
They are so funny together.]
This has become a tradition ... I still think I have yet to buy a box of Valentine's. I'm pretty sure, but don't quote me on that. I'm a little foggy on what we did at the boys' preschool when we lived in Corpus Christi. I need to look through old photos & the memory boxes. I'll have to put all of our Valentines together in a 'through the years' post if I can find them. [Click here to see last year's and here to see the year before that.] But I love them. I love seeing the miniature versions of my kids artwork mass produced. It's SO FUN & they love it, too!
They all have their own ideas ... Davis deliberately did those white clouds so we could "write" in them. So cute! I told them just to draw "whatever", then for a little more direction "things they like". Brett of course is obsessed with airplanes [particularly the C-130], Davis loves eagles & Libby just went crazy with all her faves [AKA 'everything + the kitchen sink]! I didn't know the brown thing was a horse [I thought it was a bear] so that was when I decided labeling would be both helpful & funny. :)
Happy Valentine's Day to you! :)
