Libby Girl ...

Our sweet Elizabeth ["Libby"] is 4 today. She won't let me call her a baby - but that's just because she's feelin' BIG at the moment since it's her Birthday. I'm sure she'll allow me to soon enough. A couple weeks ago when I showed a hint of sadness that my baby was turning 4, she called me out on it.  She said, "Mo-ommm... why won't you let me be 4?!" Kyle laughed & said "yeah, MOM." I told her "Of course I'll let you be 4! ... But you're my baby. And babies don't turn 4. But you'll be 4, don't worry.  There's nothing I can do about that." :)

We had a special visit from my parents earlier in the week where she got to open presents from the St.Louis peeps, had cake & ice cream. Birthday treats at school on Thursday, where she got to hear a Birthday wish on the all-school announcements & take home the special Birthday Bag. Last night we did her Birthday dinner at IHOP [her choice]. Today we will get things ready for her party, then attend her twin cousin's Star Wars Birthday Party. [He was born 8 minutes after her - the Twenter Family was busy that day with texts & phone calls of the new niece / nephew / granddaughter / grandson that arrived in Texas & Missouri!] Then tomorrow we'll have her Unicorn & Rainbow Birthday Party.  She's pretty excited. As am I. Is there anything happier or prettier than a Unicorn & Rainbow theme? :)
