I was in the middle of 3 girls. I think it takes a very special man to be a dad of 3 girls.
A few months ago I was going through some childhood things & I found some old Christmas Wish Lists. I have a couple more I will show you at a later time [oh my gosh, Santa must have busted a gut reading some of mine] ... but when I saw my dad's handwriting on this one, I immediately was curious to see what he had written.
I just loved this little attention to detail. I love that he made such an effort to reward me for my kindness by writing a note from Santa ["S.C."] & leaving me with a $1 bill. Dad, you have such a sweet heart ... no wonder you were chosen to be a dad of 3 girls! Love you!
P.S. I know ... RANDOM CHRISTMAS LIST. Trust me, I was a RANDOM CHILD. :) ha

that was the sweetest!! wow...what a dad to write a santa claus letter to you!! the fact that you have those lists amazes me! i would love to see what i had asked for back then!! oh and i have to agree with you...it does take a very special man to raise three little girls. wouldn't it be fun to have both our dads meet and swap stories? lol!
Especially a dad who had 2 brothers and had NO idea what to do with 3 little girls.
But, your granddad was the best---he was one of 7 boys, had 3 sons---he loved watching you girls. He'd shake his head, "You could sell tickets."
