Garden Roll Call ...

Strawberries:  Present ... just barely. We sort of had a set-back ... see next photo.

Snake to keep the bunnies from eating my strawberry plants:  Present.

Sweet little helper:  Present.

Tomatoes:  Present ... some more than others.

Jalapeno Peppers:  Present ... there's signs of life.

Zucchini:  Present ... but we're still waiting on the growth spurt.

OMG.  It's like watching paint dry.

Soon I hope to have enough zucchinis that I can take part in Sneak Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor's Porch Day.  Mom, did you know about this holiday?  I found out about it when I was doing research to find out WHY all my blossoms were falling OFF & not producing zucchini.  By the way, there are a couple different reasons, one of which could be that it's a MALE.  Supposedly only females produce.  Surprisingly, I would've never guessed that.  I must've been writing in my Slam Book during Biology.  Luckily, now I've got GOOGLE.
