Yesterday I stripped our fence of its ivy. What fence? Oh the one BURIED under this mess. And that's a tree to the left, back behind the soccer ball.
Even the tree was getting tangled up in it. Not only did it look messy, but I realized it was also destroying our fence & hiding little creatures in it. Not good. The boys actually drew my attention to the decaying fence when they started pulling ivy down to use for their "Jungle Party". [So cute ... here's a pic of that]
Thanks to my pruning shears & my little tree saw, the fence and tree can breathe again.
I have to laugh at myself... see that paper bag on the ground? I thought I'd be using that to collect the ivy. Maybe I underestimated just a little ...
Ahhh ... inhale, exhale, little tree.
Apparently, somebody else caught the "stripping bug".

I just noticed I have some significant pruning to do, too---want to come for a visit?
stripping must be the "in thing" for 2-3 year olds because Roman can find any excuse to drop "trou"...
