Still here ...

I technically have been "laid off" from cREaTe since July.  :) It is when our basement was gutted & all of my painting supplies were shoved in a corner of our house.  I thought I'd have a temporary set-up, but it just wasn't to be.  Just wasn't feelin' it.  If you saw the space cREaTe was crammed into for the past 3 months, you'd understand why I haven't felt "inspired".  You can no longer walk in that room.  :)  BUT.  I had past customer on Etsy come back to my shop, requesting yet another Quote Canvas from me.  I made it work - I was so honored someone came back a year later to add to their collection.  The above canvas is the one I made for her.  What an amazing quote by Viktor Frankl, which has even more impact knowing he was a Holocaust Survivor.  If you read it again knowing that, it's even more powerful.

This has been a busy week ... as I gear up for a big Oktoberfest Party on Friday, Brett's 9th Birthday on Saturday & last major details going into the basement today & tomorrow before we can start to MOVE IN this weekend.  After the grout dries.  :)  I'm sure I'll have more than enough photos to share next week.  Very exciting weekend!   I'm sure yours won't be as heavy on the "grout & kraut" like mine will be ... but I hope your weekend is exciting in its own way!  :)
